    For over 20 years Bill Gilbert, owner of G & S Renovations, has worked hand-in-hand with each client on every home improvement project he has done in Fairfield and Westchester Counties. So when it came time to renovate his online presence, it was no different (except he is now the client).  Like minds and all that.

    Bill wanted the photos of his work to do all the “talking” and so a full-screen slideshow on the homepage does the job in a big way. Simple navigation, minimalist copy, and individual slideshows for each of G & S Renovations’ area of expertise make up the rest of the key elements on the site.

    Foxboro Consulting is a strategic, integrated marketing firm located in southern Connecticut that has been helping B2B and B2C businesses for over 15 years. We have collaborated with Foxboro on several projects, including online marketing for our clients; they finally got around to revamping their own website (the whole cobbler’s children thing).  This was a major overhaul, creating a new site architecture and SEO strategy within a customized WordPress CMS (though we did keep the teal color scheme and animated fox logo).

    Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care of Southwestern CT has been providing home care nursing in lower Fairfield County since 1912, making it the oldest health care agency in the area. The guiding principal has been to provide compassionate care to those in need, regardless of financial circumstances, and it was with this same principal we applied to our design of the website.

    {Ed. Note 1/3/12: Sorry to report that after serving the local community for nearly 100 years the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care of Southwestern CT has closed its doors due to cuts in Medicare and insurance reimbursements. VNHC transferred its patient load to Masonicare in November.}

    Commissioned by NYC marketing company Moss Appeal to develop branded content for DirecTV Ad Sales team’s social media  initiative, which included a Twitter page, a Facebook page (with two custom apps), and this interactive DirecTV Perfect Match Game that utilized video outtakes from DirecTV’s popular programming.

    The game also featured a Bobble Yourself viral marketing component where participants could upload a photo to create their own bobblehead with a personalized URL that featured them on the game’s microsite. This created greater engagement and encouraged more sharing through email and social media.
